Dr. Jake Diedrich grew up in Rochester, NY, and attended Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA, where he graduated in 2015. He went on to earn his optometry degree from MCPHS School of Optometry in Boston, MA, graduating in 2019.
Jake enjoys helping people protect and improve their vision, and he values the relationships he builds with patients over time—getting to know their needs and helping them feel confident in their care.
With 6 years of experience, Jake sees patients of all ages and has a special interest in ocular disease management, myopia control in children, and fitting specialty contact lenses. He’s also an InfantSEE® provider, offering vision screenings for infants up to 12 months old.
Outside of the office, Jake enjoys spending time with his wife, Larae, and their son, Callum, along with their chocolate lab, Maggie. He’s a big sports fan—especially Liverpool FC, the Miami Dolphins, and Notre Dame—and he also enjoys cooking and woodworking.
